Heh, the mother of a friend of mine let her read James Bond novels, but mom first went through the books with a black marker and blanked out all the naughty bits. Of course, we did our damn best to read through the black ink. And that was about the only parts of the books I remember looking at. ---

Ha! I recently checked out from the library a Sue Grafton alphabet mystery series book, in which a previous reader had carefully crossed out, with a ballpoint pen, most of the uses of “fuck” s/he came across (missed a few). Not that one couldn’t tell easily what the censored word was. ---

There’s a _“touron”_ (tourist moron) getting his kicks by harassing bears in Yellowstone. [Link to Outsider article](https://outsider.com/outdoors/news-outdoors/update-yellowstone-visitor-continues-harass-bears-park-footage-sent-officials/) _Over the last 24 hours, this unidentified young man charges and screams at Yellowstone black bears. The first and second instance are near-identical, but the second – which just hit the internet minutes ago – shows his face and interior of his vehicle clearly. The videos have been sent to Yellowstone officials in kind, who have forwarded the videos to Yellowstone law enforcement, the park confirms to Outsider._ Would be a shame if he tries it with a grizzly instead of a black bear. ---

The domain was set up for a planned IT business as a play on words with the word “hit” meaning a hit on a webpage, but it turned out that so many people are so stupid that the guy has an ongoing relationship with the FBI and a dozen people have been arrested.
