Who’s the stupid motherhumper? I think it’s the other guy; but it could be me for engaging. Trumpist says the indictment is based on a hoax. I tell him it’s real. Trumpist asks what crimes Trump committed. I decided to cut it short and ask who won the election. He says Trump, so I decided it’s pointless to continue. Then he accuses me of making assumptions… right after he flat-out said Trump won. ‘You’re just _assuming_ I’m delusional because I told you about my delusion!’ **[Trump indicted Facebook post]** TRUMPIST: Please. This hoax again ME: No, he really was indicted for his crimes. TRUMPIST: What crimes? It’s all bullshit because the DNC wants him out. ME: Tell me: Who REALLY won the 2020 Presidential Election? TRUMPIST: Of course we know Trump won the election. Who in their right mind would’ve voted for Biden? Even if you don’t like Trump, and want to vote, Democrat, I’m pretty sure they put up better candidates that crazy old man and his halfwit VP. ME: And that tells everybody everything they need to know about you. You are delusional and beyond hope, and it’s pointless to interact with you. TRUMPIST: And here we go with the assumptions! I think this boils down to a fundamental misunderstanding of what an “assumption” is. An assumption happens when a person makes a conclusion without evidence. _You_ have evidence. _They_ have claims absent evidence. They just want to believe their truths because it fits what they want to believe. They are the ones making the assumption. But this just falls into the “right wing folks like to accuse others of what they’re doing” nonsense. There is no way to constructively interact with such a person. ---

My only criticism is his failure to use a Geiger counter to figure out if it was even possible for this particular spider to turn him into Spider Man. ---

Back when the book Peter Pan came out, and the play and shows that followed, kids got hurt because they thought that they could believe hard enough to fly. So magic pixie dust was added to the story to keep kids from jumping off of roofs. ---
