I hope zoos communicate problems like this with each other. I’d hate to have her decide to take her act on the road now that the Bronx Zoo is on the lookout for her… (never mind, that’d take a level of foresight that she clearly doesn’t possess). ---

I wouldn’t doubt that there is something wrong with her, but I also think there was a degree of calculated self-promotion. The lion being already well fed probably worked in her favor. I honestly don’t understand people who do useless, silly and often dangerous things in order to become some level of famous. It’s like they don’t exist if people aren’t noticing them. I am so far in the other direction that I just can’t imagine what that must feel like. ---

I don’t get it, either. People who do stupid stuff to get noticed are like ads. I sort of see them, but forget them immediately. Say I read about “some clodhopper down in Griffith, Indiana” who swallowed a yo-yo, and I go “that’s dumb” and immediately move on. Nice effort, though, whoever you were, clodhopper. ---

Now you’re kicked out of the show you paid to see, you’re almost certainly looking at legal problems and, to top it all off, you’re probably going to have to buy a new phone. Part of what makes walking my dogs successful is if none of the neighbors try to talk to me. If I walk through a crowded room with no one noticing me—win! Zoo animals are famous for never having any spending money.
