Two notable quotes from that story: “_Many people_ believe she did nothing wrong.” Where have we heard that phrase before? And referring to your own supporters as America after Pearl Harbor is weird: "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve,” ---

I’m confused (though not, I think, as confused as the woman in the story.) Is there no way for a school board member to have legitimate access to the school library? and presuming that there is, why didn’t she use that instead? thorny – has never been on a school board – locust ---

I was imagining contacting the librarian and setting up an appointment for a tour. Presumably the librarian could find the light switches. ---

Ahhh, but, you see, how can she really conduct a Bad Books fishing expedition if “they” have advance knowledge she is coming and can be looking over her shoulder. Oh, Karen, Karen, I can only hope what you have done is awaken the kids to that there are “interesting books” in the library and filled them with the resolve to read them… ---
