The story says the one who ran into the portapotty was a smaller child. How small/young isn’t clear to me. ---

I’m not entirely sure how I feel about what her friend did, but as best as I can tell, it’s not like he was trapping a 6 year old in there. The phrasing made it look to me that the child was physically small enough to be distinguishable from an adult based on the size; which very rarely would apply to a 17 year old and not always to a 14 year old – seems to me that you’d have to be looking at someone who based just on seeing them run in there might easily be 12 or younger, however old they actually turned out to be once identified. I might be wrong; maybe it wasn’t meant that way. And I’m a small (in height anyway) adult myself – most people these days who are older than about 12 are taller than I am. ---

Seems to be based on ethnicity. Dark-hued young people tend to get their age over-estimated by pale-skinned Americans. ---

It was kind of funny, taking her bike with 650mm tires to the hotel room once people looked at me and this pretty small bike custom fitted for my wife. I said, “Don’t worry I have one for each leg”. Size doesn’t mean anything. Dedication and perseverance is everything. An example of that - I was taught how to play chess 50 years ago. My wife wanted to learn 5 years ago. I taught her. It took her 100 games before she beat me. Now it’s a real match each time. She’s quite good. ---

I’m sure. Like I said above, I’m a tall guy. My best friend is 6’6". We never, ever felt intimidated, nor did we every intimidate anyone else. But, just the size of a mountain of a person next to you IS intimidating. I know I’m going off track. Being tall has many advantages. But many here could talk about the disadvantages. But I’ve already taken this hi-jack to far. One thing more, my short Wife played Basketball in High School. What she did was zoom in, make a quick turn and steal a ball from the taller players. Still makes me smile.
