Any December that starts on a Saturday will have 5 Mondays, Sundays, and Saturdays. This year, December 1 is a Friday. So it doesn’t apply. 2029 will be the next “moneybags” year. 2035 will be the next one after that. So, you’ll have to wait 6 years between them. 2018 was the last one, so that was an 11 year gap. Clearly it varies, but it’s not **that** rare. ---

My daughter used to work with a very unpleasant woman who was so dumb that daughter used to call her paint chips. lol This woman would probably be totally on board with adding lead back into paint. ---

Of course if this is true then _any_ 31-day month (=Jan, Mar, May, July, Aug, Oct, Dec) that starts on a Sat will have that. Since that’s 7 of 12 months times 1 in 7 possible start days, that’s 7/12 \* 1/7 = 1/12th of the year, or roughly one month every single year. Not so special an occurrence then. Spare me from math idjits. Please. ---

Somehow my news feed (despite ignoring any moon stories) seems to have items about the special moon of the month, be it a wolf moon, a lotus flower moon, poodle moon, pepperoni moon, or whatever happens to be the very special moon that is in the sky. You know what we called it when I was a kid? The moon. That’s all it was, and it was good enough for us. But what I get kick out of is how now the headline writers try a new hook for the clickbait: How to Watch the Pine Tree Moon This Weekend. You know how to watch the moon? Go outside and look up in the fucking sky. ---

I saw that particular lunacy awhile ago. IIRC, the “logic” was that lead blocks radio signals, therefore lead paint keeps 5G (which we all know is government mind control) out of your house, therefore (((they))) convinced us to get rid of lead paint so they could more easily brainwash us with their beams. ---

To further this derailment, I’m 62 and 6’1". The world doesn’t always accommodate the tall either. I have to make sure when I’m getting inside a vehicle to bend right so I’m not going to sit on my nuts. ---

When I was a child, you would find stores that had calendars from the past that they were using (they presumably were novelty items, not actually that old). Those worked because the calendar is on a 28-year cycle. Some months will repeat more often depending on leap years, but the 1995/1967/1942/1914 calendars are exactly the same as this year’s. ---
