I have read that rabies is a real bad, bad way to go. So bad that you may be induced by doctors into a coma. And probably will never wake up. ---

Went to his doctor and said it was a bite wound from a raccoon. His rabies post exposure treatment was free. It’s a common dodge. ---

I was exposed to rabies after a bite from a confirmed rabid feral cat. I didn’t pay anything for the treatment. And I haven’t bitten anything, so it must have worked. ---

Nope. It was a total of 11 in muscles. 7 at the first go, and 4 as follow ups. Butt, biceps, thighs- then bicep again. ---

I went to the urgent care center because the wound would not stop bleeding. Squirrels have razor sharp teeth. I was told that there had not been a case of rabies in the county in so many years but I could get the shots if I wanted them. After the process was explained, I declined. And I was fine. Just got called “squirrel bait” for a while. ---
