That story says that Rodgers lied to a _reporter_, by saying, “Yeah, I’m immunized” in response to a question about his vaccination status, but that he was under the unvaccinated player protocol with the Packers. It seems like he wasn’t vaccinated, but didn’t lie to the _Packers_ or the league about his status. ---

Unvaccinated protocol requires players to wear a mask during in person press conferences. He wasn’t. So somewhere along the line people thought he as vaccinated or were ignoring the protocols. ---

Ugh, I don’t want to come across as defending her, and I absolutely agree that she is in fact a “Stupid MFer in the news”, but I don’t actually think she was saying she wouldn’t go to jail _because_ she has blonde hair and white skin. I think she was issuing a sarcastic “apology” to “haters” for having blonde hair, white skin, a great job, and a great future. I think she thought she wasn’t going to go to jail because she genuinely thought that she “did nothing wrong.” I think that in her world, there are “haters” that want to make white people feel guilty about being white, that want to make financially successful people feel guilty about being financially successful, and that want to falsely portray a “peaceful demonstration” against a “stolen election” as a violent riot, and she isn’t having any of it. Which, I think is actually in a lot of ways _worse_ than if she _were_ bragging that her appearance and status would keep her out of jail - if that were the case, she would in fact be acknowledging systemic bias. ---

I hope she loses her job at the very, very least. There are plenty of decent people that are looking for work. Let her spend 60 days in jail and then look for a job. I wouldn’t hire her to pick weeds. It’s problematic though when nearly half the county are morons. ---

And having looked at the smarmy grifter’s twitter posts (bleah, not recommended), I really think she was defensively declaring her “Americanness” with that remark, and proclaiming her faith that “people like her” don’t get sent to jail. She does not seem to have the self-awareness necessary to figure out that yeah, that’s an acknowledgement of the existence of systemic racism. [I’m] sorry to rain on your hater parade. I did nothing wrong. Just gramatically, that makes more sense to me. But, this is very much _not_ a hill I want to die on. Either way, she is _very_ much a stupid MFer. A quick Google check says that (GASP!) Twitter is ignorant. It varies from state to state. In some states she wouldn’t be able to get a license but in others it would be fine. In Texas, specifically, it depends on the crime.
