[I suspect](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/new-stupid-republican-idea-of-the-day/911140/6464) that the “logic” is along the lines of “I stupidly assumed that my undiagnosed January 2020 illness was COVID and would give me natural immunity so I didn’t get vaccinated, and now I better talk about a Chinese conspiracy to distract from my irresponsible stupidity”.
