Also, the driver almost certainly passed other cops that had the upcoming on ramps blocked. So it’s possible they knew he was coming and kept her somewhere safe until they figured out what was going on. ---

IOW, the cops we see in the video, I’m guessing, had known about him since he was at least several miles away. ---

Odd story, but without details it’s hard to say it’s stupid. My first thought was that usually a pool is fenced off for safety reasons. Maybe a child proof fence isn’t mower proof? ---

It’s definitely a worse thing if the pool is empty. A full pool would cushion the entry.
