I suspect, since she grabbed the lanyard, she was trying to read the manager’s name, so she could Karen her way up the corporate food chain to get free stuff. ---

Jebus. It’s not like there aren’t a thousand copy-cat recipes for Cane’s sauce, which isn’t all that IMO. She could have made her own in the time it took her to drive back, get into a fight, get arrested and then get bonded out. Including the wait time for the sauce to meld. ---

There’s an urban legend that when A&W rolled out a 1/3rd lb burger back in the '70s or '80s to compete with the McDonald’s Quarter Pounder, that it sold poorly because the typical customer didn’t realize 1/3 was bigger than 1/4. I don’t know if it’s true, but it wouldn’t surprise me. ---

There’s a similar urban legend about a German pro football player who was in contract negotiations. His club offered him to raise his salary by a third, but he declined with “no, it has to be at least a quarter more”. ---
