“Like a reprimand, a censure does not remove a member from their office so they retain their title, stature, and power to vote. The consequences of not holding Democrats accountable for their inaction are plain to see before us right now - a party that doesn’t respect its electorate, can’t get anything done when it does have power, and is utterly ineffectual as an opposition party wheb it isn’t. If we want to win elections we need to do to the Democratic caucus what Republican voters did to theirs in 2010. ---
