If she needed help getting up why didn’t the med tech already there help her? The husband should have been warned about metal on his person - was the chain obviously metal or did it have some sort of coating on it that might have made it appear to be something else? Sounds like a gruesome way to die, and I’m sure it was traumatizing to his wife who was there at the time. ---

The asshole should be fired and sued for the cost of any repairs to the field that might be necessary. Someone with judgement that bad shouldn’t even be running a snack bar, let alone supervising firefighters charged with saving lives. ---
