I have a tattoo acquired about 40 years ago. It’s a small crescent moon shape, done the traditional way by cutting open the skin and rubbing soot into the cut. Accidental, not deliberate, but still as dark now as when it was first applied. I had a couple of pencil punctures as a kid, but none where the tip broke off. My wife has a large tattoo of one of our cats on her calf, and our daughter has quite a few, some very elaborate. ---

Mine wasn’t self inflicted, it was from teasing the kid sitting in front of me in 6th grade. It’s still there 50+ years later. ---

The big question there is whether MZ meant to tell the world that trump is demanding certain performances from big business, or MZ was planning to toady, or MZ just got caught flat-footed and mumbled something to say something, expecting to be forgotten 20 seconds later. Depending on what was intended, different terms fit. ---

My father had radiation treatment for prostate cancer 15-ish years ago; as a result, he has two small dot tattoos, one on each hip, which they gave him for use as they lined up the machine. ---
