I’m not quite sure if this counts as evil or stupid. He probably just doesn’t have the experience to pull that off. ---

I’m not sure which is mo bettah, a 20yo experienced killah, or a 20yo _in_experienced killah That one of his hits is _Romantic Homicide_ lends a sort of O.J.-esque tone to the whole affair. No idea who the guy is, but I just saw that story on TMZ. They didn’t go any further than what you wrote, but I’m wondering if his car was stolen and someone ditched it with the body in it. ---

That seems more plausible than “young online musical star on the rise is secretly a murderer”. Obviously, what is being reported now, which somewhat _implies_ he is, that gets a lot more eyeballs. ---

Well, if your boss shorts your paycheck and takes a couple months making it right, nobody is going to charge him with a crime. The smart criminals don’t have to worry about getting caught. They just get everybody else to agree not to call what they do crimes. ---

At any rate, that’s an obvious defense, and potentially more believable than “someone hacked my computer and posted this embarrassing racist stuff/downloaded child porn onto it”. ---

Yeah. I deliberately chose wording to not directly assert he had any involvement in the person becoming dead, or in his car. But it was real lazy of the article writer not to find out how the car came to be in the impound yard. Or even whether it had been reported stolen. Lotta unanswered questions. ---

OK, I have a bit of sympathy for these two. I admit, I have a deep seated fear of getting on a plane to the wrong destination but it’s not about buying a ticket to the wrong place. And I totally get mistaking _To Nice_ for _Tunis_, but wouldn’t the airline being called **Tunisair** give you a little pause? I laughed. I have a little sympathy but caveat emptor. Once, I was on a business trip to Mexico, specifically Ciudad del Carmen or “Carmen”. I passed some younger Americans who were planning how to get to _Playa_ del Carmen, which they assumed was just a short taxi ride from the airport to the beach and not an entire different city on the other side of the Yucatan peninsula. I had a vague desire to sit there and watch the shitshow unfold but, after a long day of travel, decided on just catching my own taxi. ---

It looks like they had a sense of humor about it rather than making trouble for the staff. This is totally something that would happen to me.
