It’s entertaining that the fellow’s full name is Danilo Alves Silva. Which strongly suggests he himself is of Brazilian ethnicity. Which of course explains his interest in Brazilian elections. Why do I sense some real leopards now circling him with face-eating intent? ---

Eh. It looks like a gloss of my purchase history. I buy men’s pants and shirts, own a PC, live in the same city as my shipping address. Etc. And the purpose of the page is to give a place for me to tell them to forget any item in there I’m unhappy they remember. The formatting of the page is a bit of odd UI design, but the content is simply your order history reformatted and lightly summarized IMO a total nothingburger. The stupid MFer here is whoever got outraged about this. ---

This definitely has the makings of a leopards eating face moment assuming that he was trying to influence the election in a right wing direction by making people more fearful the more that they dislike ICE. It could have been other things, though, in which case it wouldn’t really be someone who previously supported ICE getting burnt (frozen?) by it. It could have been a false flag operation (“See? ICE is still out there and interfering in Brazil’s election!”) Or it could have been done purely as an influencer. ---

It reminds me of those mobile “RPGs” I see where your character literally runs around and does everything on their own, and you basically just log in now and then to watch them doing something and check how much progress they’ve made. To me that’s like paying for a buffet to watch other people eat. It’s missing the point. Yet, somehow these “games” are popular. ---

I can understand the sentiment. Mid 90’s When I started trying to get into investing by buying individual stocks and subscribing to Investors Business Daily. DAILY… THICK newspaper with all the financial facts. I’d have welcomed an AI assistant. ---

Can’t argue with too much of my Amazon personal profile. “Seeks extreme heat spicy foods” is a bit exaggerated, seeing that my orders of million Scoville unit hot pepper extract are to mix up squirrel deterrent spray. “Owns a Bosmere N569 watering can” Alright, that’s getting too goddam personal. 😡 ---

It somehow knows I use a smart TV as my computer monitor, and thinks I order take-out a lot which is not true. It also knows the exact specs of a laptop I used to use, including the upgraded ram amount, which is creepy. ---

Unlike, say, AA batteries, those things are far from universal but there are a few common configs that most of the e-bike makers use. My elderly e-bike takes one of those early common configs. So Amazon says I “Probably own a Brand _X_ Model _Y_ e-bike.” Nope. That’s one choice of dozens (a hundred?) different e-bikes that take the same battery. But nice guess there Amazon AI. 🤪 ---

The cited article in post 8824 gives step by step “click this, then that” instructions. Of course that’s for the US-based English language version. So no assurances it completely matches your local UI. ---
