I’ve posted this [elsewhere](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/omnibus-stupid-mfers-in-the-news-thread-part-1/931945/9960), but it seems to fit here as well:

From Kipling’s [_The Road Song of the Bandar-Log_](https://www.kiplingsociety.co.uk/poem/poems_roadsong.htm). So the attitude has been around for some time, but it seems to be increasingly endemic to the right wing in general and MAGA in particular.
