Thanks. I do remember him now. I was impressed by how well he expressed himself even if he seemed really screwed up. We get a lot of whiny posters here who write like a 3rd grader, and you can sort of understand why they are so screwed up. But I figured anyone who could write as well as he did must’ve had some decent education and should be able to to make it just fine in this world. ---

[This guy](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=20331078&postcount=106) has been leading up to suicide by mod for some time. I think he finally hit pay dirt. Too bad. He can sometimes be an interesting poster, but can’t seem to get past “America is teh suxxor!1” ---

I don’t want to post to that thread now that it has been quite for a while, but damn. Unless my high speed scanning of it was off (:p) it comes off that he seems to think he was done learning with his degree. I work in IT. Got over 25 years experience. At many of my jobs, I didn’t know half or more of the tools and knew very little of the business processes. But I’m a fast learner. I’m happy to pick things up and always seem to become one of the company experts on something within about a year. Within 2-3 years I’m writing the company manuals for those tools or processes. Damn, if you thought your degree would teach you what you needed to know for your job, you’re a fucking idiot. The degree gives you a basic foundation upon which to expand your education and skills. ---

Spouted a bunch of nonsense in the Islam in the UK thread, called me out for ‘flag waving nonsense’, was called out by several of us and couldn’t actually answer what the fuck he was on about with that call other than trying to ignore what I said. So he’s been off his tits for a while now and building toward a breakdown. ---

If you started a thread about Apple Pie, he’d crap in it with a one-liner about how awful the US is. It gets rather tiresome after awhile. But like I said, he’s actually OK when he’s not knee-jerk bashing the US. Unfortunately, that seemed to be happening more and more as time went on. It’s not a good sign that the mods said: Go directly to 1 month suspension. Do not pass 1 week suspension. Do not collect $200. ---
