The only thing you regulars have demonstrated is the reason why the Straight Dope isn’t a lucrative source like Snopes. This message board is chock full of irrational, illogical members. Together, you soundly negate the Straight Dope’s primary goal of education because of your inability to apply logic and reason. Pat yourselves on the back: you’ve created a nest of feelings-based ideals which do not support Straight Dope. You’ll run this site into the ground long before it ever achieves its primary goal of providing a factual resource or debunking tool. You’ve collectively sunk the ship before it ever achieved any notoriety or provenance. Way to go, hypersensitive and irrational “Straight Dopers”. You’ve created a clique of socially retarded unemployable nitwits. I’m heading to Snopes, where none of you are welcome. ---
