I _think_ that I am the only one with a reasonable excuse for posting dribble this week. (Surgery, drugs, inanity) The rest of you should knock it out right this second. (I mean the Jared’s nonsense. The rest of it is fine.) ---

Either way, there’s no way he isn’t trolling. He’s clearly getting a kick out of upsetting people. If not for the rules, I’d have referenced him “getting off” on it. I’m debating what I can post about it in-thread without being accused of junior modding. I’d actually hoped to read a thread about the topic mentioned in the title. Even the Republican denials of exerting influence would be on topic. But vicarious resentfulness and tu quoque snark? Not really of any value. Nor the people feeding the troll and allowing the thread to be hijacked. ---

He reminds me of a departed poster whose thesis, during the 2016 Election, seemed to be that the most just outcome for the world would be a victory by Trump, followed by policies that wreck the American economy, and drive the country into third-world nation status. Some variation on “truth seeking,” IIRC. ---
