Weird. Maybe I missed the crazy, but I don’t see why Alchinist got banned. Ok sure, there definitely was some crazy in the 35kg computer idea, but nothing that seemed banworthy. Not like Calico Hack’s douchebaggetry. ---

I thought that some identify as humanist because they don’t want to say they are an atheist, because there are shitty people in the world who are bigots. Why would it be the other way around? I also thought that humanist was to refer to those who were _ **not** _ in a cult. Like the whole reason for the word. I’ll stand with the humanists and/or the atheists. Got problems with that? ---

I saw it when originally posted and thought it was lost to posterity! 😃 That’s the one that did him in after it was dispatched to the cornfield. It’s a good deal less coherent than the others and suggests that perhaps this was pure trolling that got stepped up another notch when the first few attempts didn’t work, but I can’t really tell if it might not be genuine mental illness. He’s been around since the end of September so if the purpose was purely to be irritating he’s been patient. ---

I see that the intrepid insuppressible Boffster now has a [second warning](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=19872647&postcount=5) for his inability to control his mania for starting threads about as often as seagulls shit, and offering even less value. His threads also offer the same interest to their originator – seagulls have no interest in coming back to inspect their shit, and neither does the Boffster. They poop it out whenever the fancy strikes them, and fly on. Yet despite multiple warnings, the Boffster is able to hold back for only three days before a cramping diarrhea expels [this gem](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=814739), in which he completely misunderstands what is happening in his own state and creates a unique thread which is self-derailing due to being pre-thread-shitted right in the OP. Naturally, the inveterate Boffster, true to form, has not returned to it. ---

It’s more sad and pathetic than entertaining, with a big dollop of profoundly disturbing. Garden variety lunatics aren’t so bad. There’s also the necrophiliacs, would-be cannibals, and worse. While some are trolling, I don’t think all of them are. ---
