If you post a thread asking for opinions but then don’t post back to it, then I do at the very least assume you weren’t really interested in the answers, and am less likely to open your threads in the future. Sure, if your title is interesting enough, or I forget about you (which happens a lot), I may come back. But for posters that do it a lot, I just wind up skipping their threads. A single post is different. I don’t expect people to necessarily read every reply. But, if you made a thread, surely you want to know what people think. And we just have too many driveby posters. It feels wasteful if there’s not a discussion. ---
