The rule as **Miller** interprets it is “fuck off and die” is against the rules because it can be construed as wishing death against another poster. He will let a simple “fuck off,” as in “go away,” go without a comment. ---

1. I thought it was quite clear that Delicious’ post was satire, and that its aim was to mock the people standing in the way of stronger gun control laws. In this case, given the inherently controversial nature of the topic, the Pit was probably the appropriate place for it, but I am puzzled that it is apparently a general principle that the Pit is the place for satire. I mean, if I want to write something poking gentle fun at, say, the new superhero movie, wouldn’t that be more of a Cafe Society thing? 2. Happy to see Steve Manon gone so quickly. I thought he was going to be one of those posters who are clearly trolls but who hang around forever like crusty turds on the side of the toilet bowl because they never directly insult other posters outside the Pit. Good job, mods. ---
