Maybe it’s just me, but I’m really fucking sick of the “deeply insecure in my masculinity” troll[s?]. I don’t know if it’s legit mental illness, or someone with a baffling misconception that the topic is funny somehow. Either way, it’s beyond tiresome. ---

Minor troll observation. Luciano posted in his weekend thread that he got a Coke and a cake at Whole Foods. Whole Foods doesn’t carry Coca-Cola products, only organic drinks. The Amazon influence may change that, but for now, Lucy didn’t a Coke at Whole Foods. ---

In the south all soda is called coke. Unless he meant cocaine, but I don’t think Wholefoods carries that either. ---

It’d be a weird thing to lie about. WF might not specifically carry Coke but they do have quite a variety of other sodas and cola drinks. He’s kind of a lazy typist so it’d fit his persona to say “coke” instead of “fentiman’s ginger beer” or “365 cola soda”. ---

I think it is because life can be hard, and these are individuals who feel that life is particularly and unfairly hard to them. It is not uncommon, but it is usually heard by parents or peers or other people who may actually give a shit. ---

I usually try to contain myself regarding these knuckle-draggers, but I’m having a really hard time of it today. The problem is that some of them aren’t trolls, they really think like that. It may be time for me to step away for at least a day or two. ---
