Try to keep up, **wolfpup**. Detroit is off the list - turns out that insuring a car in a crime-infested area is actually expensive. Who knew? Now he’s threatening to move elsewhere (as linked by **digs** above) and Dopers are scrambling to list reasons why he shouldn’t move to their hometown. At least he stopped bragging that he’d saved $50K and was ready to retire. Now it’s just a generic “lot of cash.” Good luck, sparky. ---

My apologies, I’m not really a close follower of the latest Roman plans and strategems for early retirement, nor was I aware that this landless proletarian even owned a car, let alone an insured one. I guess mentally I was picturing some kind of chariot. ---
