No, a troll could create a thread that would have enough merit to stay open and become disruptive. Ned can’t even create a thread that rises to the level of being banished to the Pit. Ned couldn’t pour water out of a boot with instructions on the heel. If Ned was any slower he’d need to be watered once a week. So far Ned has graced us with three observations, scoring three for three on thread closings: 1. The sun is older than dirt. Or, wait … the sun is older than water, no, … water is older than the sun, that’s it. In any case, the point is that the Bible can be read as a scientific text, because Ned has determined that it’s exactly scientifically correct about everything. Ned bumped the thread three or four times to emphasize this exact point. Unfortunately while God wasn’t looking, **Bone** got tired of all the bumping and closed the thread. 2. Obama was the worst president ever, in all of history. The proof is all in a new book written by a noted lunatic that will be on Amazon for three bucks for the Kindle version next month, published by the same obscure hole in the wall that publishes Islamophobic hate literature and other alt-right drivel. 3. Or at least, Obama was a really, really bad president, because, like, according to some sort of YouTube channel he did things to illegal immigrants that were almost as bad as what Trump is doing. Or something. I anxiously await Ned’s next contribution and thread closing. Based on prior history I’m betting that it will be something like Biblical proof – proof you can count on – that Obama is the anti-Christ. ---

Why am I surprised, ladies and gentlemen… why am I surprised that the same people who rationalize pedarasty, who look forward to taking health care away from millions, who argues for a less-free internet, shrugs at mass shootings, and more… Why am I surprised they are arguing for, or denying the existence of, concentration camps for children here in America? ---

I’m progressive, and I’ve noted before that virtually every democracy in every advanced country in the western world makes the American Democratic Party look so conservative that it’s hard to imagine there could be anything further to the right. Turns out there is, it’s called the “Republican Party”, and it is indeed hard to imagine that it could actually exist in a rational world. But according to you – the same source that declared support for Trumpism to be “fringe” – I must be a loon, because I support things like universal health care and the humane treatment of immigrants. ---
