Bricker is doing what looks to me like a little troll dance in [one of the Beto O’Rourke threads.](https://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=860951) I called him out on it, carefully avoidng the word “troll,” and got a warning–for calling him childish and either disingenuous or stupid. Y’see, if the board would just let us call him a troll, it’d be so much easier. ---

_Maybe_ this argument that protests are bad if they get in people’s faces, even in such a subdued way as the NFL protests, is what he actually believes. In which case he _is_ a stupid child. This is the Pit, I can say that. I think he wants to eat that cake and keep it, avoiding saying that flat-out. After all, a person Bricker sides with might want to protest something sometime.
