About fifteen or twenty years ago, Amazon had a toy broom for sale that was supposed to be like the ones used for Quidditch in the Harry Potter novels. As I remember, the broom handle could vibrate to simulate motion and some of the reviews were supposedly from parents who noted their daughters took particular interest in the toy. I think the reviews were all jokes but can’t be sure. ---

well, I believe “encootered” is the technical term. There’s something to be said for the True Believer loons, they are a lot more fun than racists or misogynists or just plain JerkTrolls. I mean, I reported his insults and threats, because they were way over the line, but I certainly wasn’t \*upset \*by them. After all, I _was_ tramping all over his Big Idea with cold, hard reality. I just wish he had more staying power, like Hydraulic Pyramid Dude
