So the mods say “quit doing that.” And there’s some sulking and threats of flouncing but eventually you (you are the poster in this made up example) mostly settle down. Then you post your comment above to me- asking if my husband and I sleep in separate bedrooms, in isolation, as your actual post is, no big deal. But with the context of the past comments, threads, pittings, sulking, and mod intervention- suddenly it stops looking so innocent and now like you are pushing at the boundaries ---

**Machinaforce** has a new bugaboo: [Nihilism](https://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=891738). I was told upthread that he PMs suicide threats to the mods, but I still think he has, and probably doesn’t treat, depression. He goes a little while between threads; I think he only posts when he’s in a depressive episode. Unfortunately, nothing we say or do here on the board can help him - he needs therapy and medication. And to stop reading shit on the internet. ---
