My “unexpressed issue” is that I’m a pretty big otaku who reads tons of manga, watches huge amounts of Japanese media (both animated and live action) and has read sora24 (the site I often link) every day for years. If this were another area of the SDMB, I would say that your characterization of my posts is inaccurate, but since it is the Pit, I’ll say go fuck yourself. ---

You are wrong that you made a joke, you only attempted to make a joke which was both unfunny and situationally inappropriate. You are wrong that “moose” is a contraction for musume (which means “daughter”), it is a corruption of that word by foreigners either too stupid or too lazy to say it correctly. And you are wrong that it is not a slur; in your own link it is clear that it is specifically used to demean and dehumanize low-status young Asian women. It is a shit word to use about any human being. You have neither introspection nor self-knowledge, and apparently very limited or no understanding of Japanese language or culture.
