While not actual trolling, the [behavior of **SamuelA** in his thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=824459) about school vouchers is annoying as hell. Numerous people have explained the issue to him, but he has not budged an inch (well, maybe 3mm) or engaged in meaningful dialogue. ---

New poster does something stupid, comes to the Dope because we’re all smarter than a bunch of money grubbing lawyers. Backstory: He was pulled over in NYC for driving without insurance and registration, and to top it off, he was busted for possessing stolen plates, because he borrowed them from a 'friend." He faces some serious jail time. Doing all that shit I can believe, but then to think he’ll get decent advice from this board? “I snagged the plates from a friend, but he definitely didn’t steal them so I totes know they’re legal.” “I have a lawyer to advise me… Well actually, I’ve only talked to a couple for 5 minutes on a free consultation line. But you guys will be much better at giving the exact odds of going to jail than some fancy-pants lawyers.” Between this guy, the roommate issues above, the guy with a metal rod in his leg asking if he should lie to the Navy recruiter, and Machinaforce’s [latest drivel](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=824781) (in which he admits to cross-posting the same shit on multiple boards), it’s been a banner day. ---
