This is generally my approach – I’ve been criticized by more than a few dopers (whom I still love!) for ‘feeding the trolls’ far too much, but I enjoy the discussion and back-and-forth too much to change the way I post, except to try and move such discussions to their own threads (which I’ve been doing lately). Plus, every so often there’s a breakthrough! ---
