I was struck by a post by **Bone** today. > [@Should we allow individuals to hold billions of dollars in their pockets?](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/should-we-allow-individuals-to-hold-billions-of-dollars-in-their-pockets/828614/123): > > This seems out of character for you so I’m going to make this a note. This could easily be construed as both an insult (reading comprehension) and an accusation of lying (deliberate misinformation). Both are not allowed in this forum. Don’t do this going forward. If you feel you must, the Pit is right around the corner. > > [/moderating] This seems to happen a _lot_ around certain individuals. Weird, right? It’s almost as if they’re doing something to provoke it. Man, I wish there was a word for that. Like, a term common in internet parlance used to describe people who intentionally post in such a way as to provoke angry responses from others. Ah well, maybe someday someone will come up with an appropriate term for this. 🙂 --- _[View the full topic](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/omnibus-trolls-r-us-thread/755489)._
