# On a lighter note, has anyone heard the new Weezer album?

I dont want to downplay the on going tragedy, but has anyone else heard the new Weezer cd? Its fricking great. Weezer, IMHO, is one of the most under rated bands of the 90’s. Awsome song writers, and great catchy hooks. I listen to pretty much only hardcore, but I have always had a place in my heart for weezer. I had been waiting for a new one from them for years. Anyone else think this CD is spectacular?

I haven’t heard the CD, but I _just_ got back from their Las Vegas show and it was really great. Everything they played that I hadn’t heard before was excellent, and I’ll probably pick up the CD next time I’m in a record store.

I haven’t heard the new CD either. I was supposed to go to their show Tuesday in San Jose, but it was postponed.

I still like Pinkerton better. And I wish the whole thing would have been darker, like Hashpipe. I like it, but it’s just so…Help! era Beatles.
