She actually doesn’t sell through it, though, so I’m not really shilling here. I know that sounds crazy for a small retailer, but for one, there are “protective” reasons not to put all her work out there. For two, I’m web master, and I don’t really know how to set it up. Most importantly, she knows others who have done it, and the amount of work and advertising you have to do to get traffic doesn’t really seem to make it worth it.

The site is actually only a few months old, and in slow-flux design-wise. She’s hoping it will eventually serve more as an “information” site for her galleries and mailing list. If it really does prove useful, we’ll have a pro handle it someday.

She’s in the one near Rockefeller, on 50th st. I don’t know if she’s in the one on 7th. They have tons of other handmade jewelry there.
