# On Halloween, I'll be supporting the Packers.

I was perusing Snopes when I found [this Urban Legend](http://www.snopes.com/sports/football/election.asp):

Surprisingly, the status is “True.” Since 1936 if the Washington Redskins won their last home game before the Presidential election, the incumbent party remained in power. If they lost, the challenger won the White House.

Coincidence? Of course. But I’ll still be supporting Green Bay on 31 October. 😃

Let me tell you, as bad as Green Bay looks so far this year, the Redskins look worse. Who knows though, maybe Dick Cheney will give them an inspiring halftime speech and they’ll walk all over the Pack. 😃
