Fredric March and his second wife Florence Eldridge were casted as a couple several times on stage and screen. Charles Laughton and his wife Elsa Lanchester were often in the same movie but not necessarily a couple. Some of them (“The Big Clock”, “Witness for the Prosecution”) have them as antagonists. ---

I can’t remember if this was a case of Real Life Writes the Plot or the two getting together over the course of the angle, but in the WWE, Steph McMahon and Triple H are married both IRL and in character. (Interestingly, while Triple H is actually involved in running the company both IRL and in character, he’s actually got two different positions.) ---

**Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara** appeared together in, among other things, The King of Queens. Note: upon verifying this I just learned that Meara died in May of this year. They had been married since 1954. mmm ---
