On The Road Again - Our Journey Through The West Coast of the USA

We’ve noticed. Huge snarls of traffic around semi-trailers trying to chug their way up long, long hills, and some jackhole will. not. get out of the left lane. I don’t think we’ve been any situations more dangerous in all of our travels than the idiots who won’t clear the fast lane so faster traffic can get by, and a whole clot of frustrated drivers all get tangled up, undertaking and making bad decisions.

Our senses are clogged by cheese, so things that seem abvious to everyone else seems cloudy and a little yellowish to us.

And we’re home again. Our final day didn’t go as planned; we planned to go from Spokane, Washington to Radium Hot Springs, BC and spend the night there. As it turned out, there is some kind of classic car convention there, so all the hotels were booked. We had a nice dinner, took a two hour soak in the hot pool, then just drove on home, getting home at 11:00 at night.

We always know that there is a chance of this happening when we don’t book hotel rooms in advance, but it very rarely actually happens (I think this is the first time).

It was a very good trip all around; we saw tons of interesting things and interesting places, we met some nice new people, we had many good meals; all over, it was two thumbs up.
