# On Trenchcoats... (A Fashion Tip)

I admit I don’t have much of a fashion sense, but I thought I’d pass on a simple observation.

Whatever coolness a long brack trenchcoat arguably imbues upon you is instantly voided when you wear **sandals** with them.

Just a tip.

Fashion choixes that make you go “HUH?”.

The other night, I saw a fellow wearing a muscle shirt - no sleeves, fairly tight. And he had the physique too wear it to, damn him. The odd things about it were that it had a puplish paisley pattern, and a collar - it was as if he had taken a paisley golf shirt and cut off the sleeves. It looked very strange, especially in that setting - a strip club.

I work in a fairly fashion-conscious office. One day, one of the Little Editor Girls (“magettes,” I call them) showed up wearing BROWN VELVET OVERALLS. She looked like Liza Minnelli’s farmhand.

Someone must have said something to her, as THAT outfit never reappeared.
