~ April 8, 1979. I was in my first year of grad school. I remember that whole time period as one of very low cash flow. 🙂 Wasn’t really a problem for me, at the time, as long as nothing went wrong with my car. ---

Feb 1st 1988 and I am so not sure I did my math correctly. My kids were not quite one year old. We were pretty poor and lived in a crappy neighborhood. But we were a happy family. And the crappy Neighborhood was Coney Island with the boardwalk, beach and amusement park on one side and Kaiser Park on the other. Beautiful if you don’t mind the abandoned taxis with dead people in them. ---

The Julian date calculator wasn’t working for me, so I used a calculator and crunched away. But I goofed and was a year off. It was actually January 1, 1986. Well, by now it would be January 2 or 3.
