For a supposed “Uniform Distribution” the Saturday Baby crowd is noticeably absent from this thread! Maybe this mention will improve the situation from: ```auto On which day of the week were you born? Sunday 28 14.36% Monday 23 11.79% Tuesday 23 11.79% Wednesday 36 18.46% Thursday 35 17.95% Friday 30 15.38% Saturday 20 10.26% Voters: 195 ``` ---

What’s with those outliers Wednesday and Saturday? The distribution would look fairly even and random without them. ---

Remember that MANY births are planned c-sections and inductions. It would be unusual to plan those procedures on a weekend. This poll actually looks like a bell curve to me. I found [this article](http://jech.bmj.com/content/37/1/57.full.pdf) (warning: PDF) from 1983 that mirrors our data somewhat. It cites previous studies too. ---
