No. There is no offense in the UCMJ about doing your own business with yourself. However, Article 120, 125, 133 and 134 can be used against you if you do that sort of business with someone else involved.

Same same is a common phrase used throughout asia, especially in Thailand, Korea, Vietnam etc by both locals and foreigners and i’ve never heard of it being offensive to say that people say it… Because they actually do very frequently.

I’ve lived in Asia since the beginning of 2005 and I rarely encounter that expression. I’ve also lived in and visited Asia for quite some time before 2005 and, again, rarely encountered that expression. The places in Asia I’ve been included Korea, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and China.
Well i’m going into work tomorrow and can say “same same” to my Thai boss here in Bangkok and he won’t be offended. Neither will any of the colleagues I work with. I’d really like a cite that same same is in any way offensive cause I’ve just not seeing it.
