On Sunday Sept 8, 2002 @8:00 am I will run the Harrisburg, PA half-marathon. It’s a nice race, starting on City Island with a run by the river. It’s very flat as far as courses go. Once again I intend to prove my physical, moral, intellectual, and yes… sexual superiority to all of you. You cannot beat me. You will fail if you try. You probably shouldn’t even try. Would you try to stop a waterfall? Stop the wind from blowing, the Sun from rising? If you don’t wish to inform that you are running, but want to recognize me at the race, that will be easy. I will be the one at the finish line with the victorious look on my face. Oh, I almost forgot. I implanted a bomb in a french fry that Fenris ate. It has moved up into his brain (the bomb, not the french fry,) and unless somebody defeats me this bomb will go off destroying Fenris’ ability to post anything except Britney Spears song parodies. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA! ---

For those not local, anybody who runs in a half-marathon between now and race day, can post their time, and if I don’t beat it, I’ll turn off the french fry. They will of course have to post a link to the race. ---

In June I ran a local course with a running group and did 1:34:07. If it’s cool and not too humid, I hope to break 1 1/2 hours in Sept. (BTW: I was asking Scout, stupid of me not too say so.) ---

My 1/2 marathon PR is 2:00:27. Followed up by a blistering 2:00:57. So I’m knocking on 2 hours right now. Dad gummit! I WILL BREAK 2 HOURS!!! Maybe not this race, maybe not the next. But oh yes, it will be mine. So you’ve definitely got me beat! -scout aka “Pup Tent” ---

I have won this race before it has even begun!! While you sit there running in sweltering heat or torrential rains i shall sit in my dry air conditioned house watching TV and not becoming the least bit winded or discomforted. HA! Victory is MINE! ---

My half marathon PR: 2:19:15 I’m running a half marathon on September 7 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota - the Dick Beardsley Half Marathon. I would like to run it in 2:15 or less. ---
