I guess that’s the stereotypical name for big burly redneckish guys. I just used it as an example for my hypothetical prison rapist because it’s been used in this thread already. ---

“Bubba” is a southern colloquialism for the oldest brother in a family. It’s used by both white and black people. I think the name, Bubba, pops up in these kinds of Jokes because it sounds very masculine and seems to imply size. “You’re gonna be dancing with a guy named Bubba” sounds funnier than “You’re gonna be dancing with a guy named Todd.” ---

Gosh, you’re right, it **is** fun to knock down straw men. Oddly enough, I’m listening to 60 minutes expose that detailed a case in Houston, where a man was convicted of a kidnap/rape, based on DNA evidence, spent long time in prison. Funny thing? the lab was wrong. he’s out now. Of course, we can all breathe easier 'cause while he was the scumbag in prison, y’all wished anal rape on him. But now that we know he was innocent, all’s ok again, right? ---

So given that prison rape does NOT only happen to guilty rapists, and in fact happens far more often to other inmates, you would be for eliminating prison rape? ---
