If you like Joe Satriani and Steve Morse and are looking for something new I recommend [Ron Jessurun](http://hometown.aol.com/dian4peace/Jessurun.html) Ron is my SO and I’m not here to promote him, but I do think you would like his music if you are into that style. ---

I’ll add that I did manage to post a killer list in **USCDiver** ’s thread. It is more varied than just R&R but still kicks @ss. Worth checking out for those who are curious. Lot’s of other good suggestions in that thread too. ---

check out SINTI. i am no expert but know what i like. kinda cajun scot/irish. also king sunny ade…there are words but you probably wont understand them,(or i dont) but it is plenty soothing and beautiful. ---

Mind-boggling freak guitar. _[The Fall of Us All](http://www.frammis.com/fall.htm)_ is my all-time favorite guitar album. On a more mellow note, the late, great [**Michael Hedges**](http://www.nomadland.com). _Aerial Boundaries_ is one of the most amazing compositions I’ve ever heard. ---

Suzanne Ciani is beautiful new agey classical music. Esquivel and Martin Denny are amazing ultra lounge music that is a helluva lot of fun. Martin Denny’s version of Misirilou(which was before Dick Dale) blows Dick Dale’s version out of the water, IMHO. ---

OK, I really liked the _Endless Summer II_ soundtrack by Gary Hoey. The Danny Gatton stuff was really good but took some time to warm up to it. I also got _Buckethead_’s **Colma**.
