# One for Jerry: Urban 75 migrates from VB to Xenforo

A UK messageboard I frequent has just migrated to Xenforo. The tale of the migration is [here](http://www.wirefresh.com/urban75-becomes-xenforos-biggest-uk-installation-as-community-site-transfers-10-3-million-posts-from-vbulletin/#more-10083).

I’m not suggesting that the SDMB migrate but I do think that it’s something on which to keep an eye.

Interesting, but perhaps you could iterate a few reasons why this should be considered. I mean that thread mentioned a few things, but I’d like your take on what you see as reasons SDMB should be evaluating it.

I think it’s far to early for the Dope to be evaluating a move to Xenforo - remember that XF is only on version 1 - but it’s not too early to be keeping an eye on possible successors to VB, of which XF is a logical choice.

But the Dope has long had speed and capacity issues.
