I’m more sneery at the people that believe every single word that ends with an “s” needs an apostrophe. I see comment’s like this on Facebook post’s all the time. ---

I read it as the woman asking the man where the kid was (presumably Mum and Dad), and the man tracking her on the app. The kid is talking about the woman. ---

I find it more annoying when they are inconsistently applied. At least if someone puts them everywhere, they have some sort of logic (albeit wrong) to their mistakes. ---

He also has a “thats”, a “doesnt”, and a “dont”. But he slipped up and left in “questions” and “I’m”. ---

In response to the posts by Exapno Mapcase, puzzlegal, Chronos, colinfred… I believe the blonde girl by the car likes the boy on the bench and she is hoping he will be there. The boy on the bench likes the blonde girl and he is hoping she will be there. The man in the car is the blonde girl’s dad and he is dropping her off. He looks irritated/mad. He is thinking about the boy who likes his daughter, hoping he is not there. ---

My take: the person the blonde girl is thinking about is a boy, who is also thinking about her, and Dad is not happy about the relationship. But like others, I know nothing about this strip, so there may be back stories to these characters that I don’t know about. ---

There’s a lot going on in that panel. The confused woman in the foreground is thinking about the guy who got an ice cream cone dropped on his head…with such impact he is apparently unable to produce a single thought. ---

That was my take too, a couple of posts up. Another thing, the boy and girl may have planned to meet each other and the boy knows the dad doesn’t like him, so instead of waiting where her dad could see him, he is behind the building. ---
