Blurg. I’m sickity sick sick sick. My new great-nephew is in the hospital again. 5 months old and can’t keep food down, losing weight instead of gaining it. He’s been under a Peds GI specialist since he was a month old. Finally, have months of try this and check back in a month", they’ve decided to do something. **Germy** prayers and good thoughts headed out to great nephew. Poor baby! **NOTE TO SELF:** Christmas at **doggio’s** place could be interestin’. 😃 The Agape Supper was wunnerful! Lots of good food. Interestin’ takes on “Middle Eastern” food. Ok, smoked venison definitely is not what one would have expected 1st century Christians to have eaten but, as I pointed out, 1st century South Jawjans probably would have eaten venison. 😃 There was stuff like hummus, couscous, lamb, goat cheese, and fruit stuffs that would qualify. All in all a good time. Plus wine. There was wine in the 1st century Middle East definitely. Ok, da bear is tahred. Time for beddy bye. Nitey nite Y’all! ---

I think there’s only going to be two of us in the office tomorrow, and four on monday, and two Tu-Th, and only me next friday. I guess I have no business sense, but if it was me, I would have asked those few people whether they wouldn’t rather have the day off (I know at least one of the other people still has vacation days left, she’s been told there has to be someone from the team in, but kick me if I understand what for). One of the problems with having six people giving instructions on how to do one single task is that, since they haven’t bothered talk to each other, the collective Them does not like whatever we do to fix the thing that one of them made us do to fix what another one had required us to do to fix… bleagh! Lunchtime is here. That’s good, because I’m about starving (under the first world definition thereof). ---

Blurf. Awoke at 0330, when my alarm was set for 0459. Gotta go pay the surgeon the $175 copay for VWife’s shoulder job Monday, or the surgery is off. Of course, payday is tomorrow, the office is closed tomorrow for the legal holiday. I’m down to writing a check on funds that don’t exist until midnight tonight. :grrrr: Brought in a box so I have it available to clean out my desk. I haven’t figured out if I’m overjoyed or depressed by this. I have a bottle od champagne in the fridge that’s been there 2 years. I think I’ll drain it NYE, and get good and snockered. Carry on. ---

Just don’t tell him about [all the other fun stuff from the same maker](http://www.rlt.com/)… About the LG stove - we ordered one from Sears and with some sort of black magic, it went from being in-store and ready for pickup (even had an assigned pickup bin location) to out of stock, back-ordered from the manufacturer and presumed to be on a slow raft from Korea as the expected date was in January, even though we were in September. The department manager made us a deal on the floor model - we came out with a 3-year service plan essentially for free and have been enjoying a stove that we can actually control. Meanwhile, I’m back among the living! My computer died on Tuesday - the hard drive was just going “tick tick tick tick urrr… tick tick tick tick tick urrr… tick tick tick tick urrr…” Oh crap. Being a good geek, I had a spare drive laying around. (What? You don’t have any extra 1TB drives?) After performing rocket surgery on the iMac, it has a new drive. The best thing is Time Machine. I boot the thing up with an OS X disc, tell it to restore with Time Machine, and it tells me to come back in about six hours. I do just that, and it’s like nothing ever happened.
