Steve Forbert had one top 40 song - Romeo’s Tune. He is still touring and putting out albums. They are folk/americana type music. One of my favorites is The Oil Song. It was written about 1980. Each verse was about an oil spill. Since then every time there is a big oil spill he writes a new verse for the song. ---

I always forget about _Heavy_, which was 3/5 a different group. _In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida_ was their peak. _Ball_ is their third album, not their second. Vastly underrated group. ---

I remember the Stevie Forbert album Jack Rabbit Slim. The Oil Song came as a separate, floppy, one-sided record included in the album. I may still have it somewhere. ---

ISTM that The Boomtown Rats are only known for I Don’t Like Mondays. I pretty much liked the entirety of their Fine Art Of Surfacing album. ---
