I often wonder why believers feel that simply because something is unknown - or unknowable - that that is a reason to believe in a particular fairy tale. Similarly, I have no expectation that the world will ever be a perfect place. I’m not terribly interested in simply placing blame. However, I can hope that my president will choose not to needlessly invade sovereign states, and will not consistently advocate policies that impress me as having little aim other than further enriching the most well off - at substantial predictable cost to the less well off and the environment. ---
